Last month eleven brave souls set off around Meyrick Park, none knowing exactly what the next five hours would bring. Despite slanderous accusations from Mr Greg Mathers that there was cheating in the camp, only one team could be victorious that being Mr Michael Callaghan, Mr Casey Jones, Mr Richard Magrath and Mr James Darvill

Who would have thought that a game associated with the older generation would somehow become a past-time for the 25 to 35 year olds of the Pig and Whistle. Is it the fresh air, the generally competative nature of the young bucks or indeed is it the £2 a pint for Carlsberg Export available at Meyrick Bowling club.
